Just received a .nds version from YouTube that was patched to work with DesMume emulator...loaded it up on my CycloDS and works like a charm.

Working for me now! On R4 with R4 Wood 1.12 I think it is, reset turned off cheats on, hex patched Black Version

Played for 20 minutes, can catch pokemon, save, gain experience and haven't seen any freezing whatsoever

as of yet at least lol

I've just gotten a prepatched rom ~ testing out now. Although I'm on a DSTT clone so it'll probably not work. Errcode=-4 (-5 on R4i/clones) I was reading on another forum that everyone is having problems on DSTT with the errcode thing.

i hope they fix it or come up with a patch its the first time i came accross to this error ith all pokemon games ive used.

I tried prepatched roms, and patched the roms myself, nothing! Don't get N5 people, cheap flashcart but not worth it I guess. If another good patch doesn't come out I might just buy Acekard.. -_-

Same here. Although a while back I remember encountering the error with Mario and Luigi: Bowser's inside story.

Same here as well.... I use R4III the first game I've ever had trouble with was B.I.S.

Not really at this point unless you wanna use Pokemon wood. I have an R4 clone so Im completely stuck in tracks, right Im now Im just using the Desmume emulator. Mijumaru FTW.

I used the patching tool and followed the instructions exactly for the Hex patch on a clean rom, and both White and Black run 100% as far as I can tell.

Card: AceKard 2i
Firmware: AKAIO 1.7

No lowered sound pitch, no white screens, gain exp and levels, hasn't frozen in 2 hours+ of gameplay (turned it off and on every now and then to test as well).
I also went into pokecenters and progressed through events without trouble as well, beat the first gym in fact. So... looks good for AceKard 2i?

*Edit* - I didn't test any wifi / multiplayer features though.

For some reason desmueme wont work for me. when I open the ROM it just sits there. If I go to try and unpause it, nothing happens, the checkmark just stays there too. I also don't have that little bar where theres the play stop pause and stuff icons.

You probably got one of the fake roms. I ran into a couple like that before I found one that worked. Good luck finding the real rom.
