I'm looking over a list that shows all the final evolutions' stats and everybody's types, and so far I'm impressed. Nearly all the final evos have solid stats and there seems to be multiple options for the key types. One thing that's frustrated me about every generation to this point is that most of the Pokes available had either lackluster stats or didn't naturally learn any good moves to take advantage of their types, not to mention important types often had few Pokes representing them. Depending on how and when certain Pokes are made available and what moves these new Pokemon learn as they level up, maybe Black and White will be the first set of games where you have a broad range of viable Pokes to choose your team from. I can hope, in any case. :]
