Edit: I found this out last night: when you select the channel, don't press either + or - as it will brick the console.

Really? Please tell me theres a way to fix that... Kinda scary to know that with one press of a button, even accidental, you could fuck up your Wii forever

That just means there was one bad channel banner. Every time you install a custom channel you run the risk of a banner brick. I haven't heard of anyone getting one in years as most programs that create custom banners put in fail-safes. Make sure to have BootMii and/or PriiLoader installed (as you already should) and uninstall the WAD that caused the banner brick (or all that you recently installed if you're unsure which one it was)

I was a bit busy last days with my other things, just seen new DML is out, already added detection for extracted games, but I'll only release it if I see everything works.

Edit: Don't worry, I've found an alternative which I'll test and possibly upload tomorrow (if it works).

Edit 2: I've just personally tested the new forwarder channel and it works without any bricking of any sort at all!

It will have to be slightly altered though...

All tested with DML r58 of course...

Any news about that new DML. the only thing I've noticed is that everything stopped working from dml_booter to usb loaders & that the wad size is 6x larger!!

I heard the only way to get this new DML working is to use DML Booter... this is confusing, but I'm sure everything will be figured out, until then, ill stick with the other DML revisions that were made before this DML.

I knew something was fishy about the new DML...

Anyway... I need a favour from someone who has the tools. Using the channel which I found, change the icon banner to alternate between the DML and Gamecube Logo. Also... to edit out the part after the banner animation (if you watch the video, you'll know what I mean).

I added support for the new DML v1.0, its still a work in progress so the dol above for it can just set video mode and language, and even that doesnt work properly. It can also find the new game format from GCReEx now. DML v1.0 works with PAL480p and NTSC480p, both video modes are newly added, PAL60 is added too.

The source is the actually code, you can change it and then compile it again. The binary is the ready to use dol file.

Even if there is a new update tomorrow, I will have a two new fresh forwarder channels available to download.

For the channel which I found earlier, I still need to edit the icon banner (so it doesn't change) and remove that last part from the animation (somehow), then I'll have the perfect forwarder channel whether it's for r52-r59 or v1.1.

How do I install the booter, and how does it work? Does it give me a list over the games I can launch, and then starts the one I choose? Also, does it tell the name of the game and not just its ID (GXX01 for example)? Should I just put the dol file in the wad folder on my SD card and then install it or what..?

Yeah you select the game and dml settings. I already made the wads check my previous post. Download the one for your dml
