Using the dev 0-9 version of goldleaf to allow launching of a game that otherwise wouldn't without an update.

How?

By downloading the dev 0-9 version linked above, browsing to the game in the system menu corresponding to the location the game in question is installed on, selecting it and clicking "reset launch version."

Ok thanks but I can load the game just fine without doing this. I just want to get rid of the update popup. Will it do that too?

Ok thanks. Let me ask you one of the games is a cartridge so since I’m now on 10.2 I can just remove dns90 and update it normal right? But I am on emuMMC so I’m not sure.

Do that and expect an almost instant ban. If you are on emunand, forget about every single official internet service, do everything manually.

Haven't tried it but this might work. Choose Individual File.. option, after dragging a file, choose 1, and then it will ask you if you want to patch it into another fw version, choose your fw and let it finish processing. Again, not sure if it works.

If you have multiple game files, then choose "pack multiple files" option. Then drag your files.

OK. Found a way to remove nag, that even Reset required version can not remove:
1. Mount SYSTEM via hacdiscmount
2. Open /save/8000000000000045 via hexeditor
3. Find titleid for update (8 bytes) and zero next 8 bytes.

If you mean without a game update, maybe. If you are referring to system updates, it's far more complicated and I'm not, in any way, the right person to ask. This thread was discussing the nag that occurs when removing a title update after playing the game on a higher version, which can be fixed by a newer version of the homebrew goldleaf, not system update requirements which is a wholly different issue..

Yeah I was talking about without updating the game not the system.

The way todo it, is to reset your emuemmc.

Do the following:

• Start hekate
• Hold + & - down
• Start Emuemmc -> and keep holding the buttons
• In Maintaince Mode do a FULL reset, the second least option i think

Let it run, reboot, and dont go online.
Setup your emuemmc.
