Yes, you can move some channel you don't play often to your SD Card, It's add more Channel. :-)

can you move vc/wiiware that was installed via wad manager to the sd card or they can only be stored in system memory?

if you install vc-wiiware wads with a wad manager, they will be on the system menu. You can move them to the sd card and play them there, but you will need to install a patched IOS to play them there. patched 60 for 4.1, patched 70 for 4.2, and patched 80 for 4.3. Use modmii to get them.

Yes, you can. Though, you need the Trucha-Bug in your Systemmenu IOS.

@OP: This question has been asked at least for about the fourth time, please use the search, thank you. Answer: No, you can't. If you need more Space, and don't want to reduce the lifespan of your NAND by using the official Ninty-Method, use Triiforce, or SNEEK/UNEEK. Have a look at ModMii, it should help you to set one of these up.
