Is there a DS homebrew to tell if your game is bootleg?

So... that´s the question; is there any database or homebrew which can tell if a cartridge is original via it´s internal ID, analysis of components without opening the cart, etc?

Thanks! And yes, this is mostly because of Pokémon. Pearl in my case; they tried to sell me a fake one

Typically the spoof is enough to fool even DSi and 3DS models because the bootlegs that are not flashcarts are typically designed to operate like a geniuine cart.

You can sometimes without opening the cart, there are signs on the outside of the cart you can use, see here: https://gameverifying.com/wiki/cart-based-systems/nds

Also if you post clear photos of the front & back and post it to /r/gameverifying on reddit, they can help too.

BigOnYa @ BigOnYa: That game maybe too violent for your granny tho. Better get Barbies Dream house instead.
