You see, my ps3 was bought second-hand and it already came modded and it had several games in it, however I doubt these games were in pkg format since normally games in pkg format require HEN to be enabled in order to open them, and I dont need to enable HEN in order to run the already-included games. And I dont know if they are iso games since those dont appear on the xmb unless mounted.

Is the PS3 running persistent custom firmware? In which case you wouldn't need to enable HEN first. Alternatively some, or all, of those games might have been bought digitally by the previous owner and thus don't need an entry point to be played.

If you install retail games from pkg and properly import the license rap files and convert them to rif then the game appears as though it's been installed through the store and therefore will work even without CFW / HEN.
Homebrew on the other hand, does not have a digital signature using Sony's keys (AFAIK we don't have them), so Cobra is needed in order to have the PS3 accept fake signatures.

I convert rap files to rif through apollo save tool and the games the rap files are for still need hen to be enabled in order to open

I've now heard of "NO-HAN" pkg files; a type of pkg files that dont require hen to be enabled in order to open them and that those are made converting iso files and jb folders into pkg, but idk what program do I use to do that

Why tho, just enable HEN (takes 10 seconds) then play any file type game.
