Hardware Is There A Better Controller Charger For The Wii?

I have this charger. I'd like to charge four Wiimotes at the same time if possible. I've used this product for years and it is so difficult to get the Wiimotes to be detected as present within the controller cradle. Does anybody else have a different charger they are happy with? Or is this design pretty much it?

You search for maybe better Solutions ? Maybe diffcult..

I know only the original Nintendo Solution:

It contains 1 original Akku/Battery and the Charging Cradle.
(I have 2 of them for near 5 Years and it is still ok.Also the Battery of Course.).

There are unfortunately not really "universal" Solutions for 3er Party Chargers.

That is interesting. I can't find the equivalent on the USA Amazon store. I did find this sort of charger though. First time I've seen it. I think I might go this route. I need to charge 8 Wiimotes between two Wiis, so the official Nintendo solution is likely out of my price range anyway. Hoping these will fair better in terms of keeping the charging connection without much hassle.

I have a Time with 4 - 6 Wii Motion Controllers.

- First I used normal Batteries
- Then I tried recharchable Batteries/Akkus/charged in an extern Charging Station.
- Then I have tried such a 3rd Party Solution like you...until it began to "smoke" during Charging....
That´s it...never again...

Then I have searched for an official Battery and found the Nintendo Rapid Charging Station is RVL-040 for around 20 Euros on Amazon.de and ordered 2 Pieces.

Since then no long Charging Times and (still) long lasting Battery Performance.

Maybe you have more luck on EBay ?

Hello,

I use rechargeable batteries (Non Nintendo) with a charger to recharge the batteries.

I have had the batteries for several years, and I use them for both consoles, the Wii and the Wii U

I use brand name rechargeable batteries, and it works like a charm.

Sometimes the most simple answers allude . Why I haven't taken that course of action anytime during the last six years with so much recharger stand trouble is beyond me. In my quest for ease I lost sight of how simple and reliable everyday rechargable batteries would be at solving my problems. I am definitely going to go that route from this point forward.

Thank you very much jeannotte! And thank you alexander1970 for introducing me to a quality controller charger. I never knew Nintendo had made one of those. It is nice knowing a quality solution exists if I ever want to the Wiimote cradle route again. You have both have been extremely helpful
