Hacking Is my switch bricked?

Hi just now my switch won’t turn on. I’ve already tried holding the power button down and nothing has happened. This happened when I was trying to install cfw with the rcmloader and I plugged it into the switch when it was a green light and not the blue light and now I’m scared. Please help

things you should provide so me or anyone would be able to solve your issue


whats are the ?

1.sdcard partition format
2.Horizon os version
3.atmosphere cfw version you were installing
4.what the payload you used to boot to cfw
5.if you used rcm loader did yo make sure you updated the payload on the loader
6.when exactly you get the black screen

at least with this information we can start look into your issue and not panic xD

green light means you injected some other payload. I believe green would be ReiNX. Shouldn't have done any kind of damage. You should be able to hold power for about 20 seconds, and then power on the system again as it's likely ReiNX hanging trying to load.

makes sennce also holding the + button on the dongle should switch to the blue light

Just hold the power for +20 seconds, which should turn your switch off.
Leave your Switch chaging for an hour with a charger.
It also won't boot if the battery is empty.
Use lockpick_rcm as a payload to see if you can inject something properly.
If that works, make sure you have put all the Atmosphere files in the right folders on your SD card (preferably FAT32).
Then inject the primary payload.
If the SD card is messed up or the required files are missing, you'll also get a black screen.

And if you managed to get everythign working again, please share it here so that people can use it as a reference in case they have the same issue.
