Hacking Is my SDHC dead or is it the card reader?

Hello. I have a 4GB Kingston SDHC card. A few weeks ago I broke my card reader. I yanked it out of my USB port by the string and it fell apart. I bought a new one off eBay and when I placed my SDHC in it and back into a USB port my computer said the device was unreadable or corrupted. I assumed I got a faulty product since it was made in Hong Kong and I paid a dollar for it. So I bought another cheap one off eBay and it told me the same thing. Now I'm concerned whether it's the card or the card reader. The seller of the second card reader is sending me another one but I don't know how that will play out. It'll take nearly 3 weeks to get here from Hong Kong. Does anyone know a more reliable seller? Does anyone have experience with this?

Did you actually ask them if you could use SDHC cards, most old stock card readers wont read SDHC

The eBay description says it reads SDHC and both card readers looked exactly like the one I originally had. Thanks for the link. I'll check it out.
