I have a passcard so I can run DS games with the GBA cart. And I have traded between pearl on the flash card and legit plat. I was wondering if it would work with HG because I'm worried of a brick

He's talking about linking a DS game on a slot-2 flashcart with an official slot-1 HG cart. Not connecting a GBA game with a DS game.

Should work fine if it worked with platinum. Also why don't you just flash your ds so it doesn't need the passcard.
