Looks like a shooter to me, which I welcome. Last July IGN said that it was "mindless action & explosions" when they played it, so it sounds like its been in development for quite sometime unlike crap like Superman Returns, Xmen 3 & Fantastic Four 2. Can't say I'm expecting much from it seeing that its by SEGA's A2M team (who did Spider-Man: Friend or Foe, Scooby-Doo! Unmasked, The Golden Compass & both Zack & Cody games) but I'd like there to be a good DS Iron Man game and at least it looks like it could be better than the "meh" looking Hulk DS game. Its also said to be controlled using the touch screen.

EDIT:
New preview, sounds promising but then IGN reckons Shrek 3 was good: http://uk.ds.ign.com/articles/865/865343p1.html

And lots of videos:

Excellent use of sound and there's voicework too. Looks great to be, can't wait.

Screen shots look pretty decent. Thanks for the tip Hadrian.

This looks like it will be pretty good for a movie game. I just hope Robert Downey Jr. doesn't make an appearance.

As long as its better than the Fantastic Four movies (what the fuck was up with Galactus being cloud dust?)I don't care if Robert Downey Jr plays himself as usual. Unlike some people I reckon the Iron Man film will be decent.

As for these comic book to movie to video games, I reckon developers would be better off if they ignore the movie and just went with the comic books instead.

Its one of my all time favourite games, and a great cover. It had to be a avatar for me one day.

It really makes me sad to see a once mighty development group like AM2 reduced to producing shovelware. They had one of the most impressive libraries in the industry. Just look at the list of their games: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SEGA_AM2

The actors will all be lending their voices to the Iron Man video game. Although I doubt the DS will feature voice work.

But Robert Downey Jr. is the perfect Tony Stark though.

If I had not seen the screens, I probably would never considered this one for purchase. Now I'm intrigued, maybe it's like Nanostray?
(that AM2 list has a some awsome titles- Propeller Arena & Ghost Squad, along with some equally bad ones)

I've never played a decent super hero game on the DS. I'm very doubtful about this game.

Have you tried Spiderman 3?
It's a pretty good game, and got alot of good reviews.

As for this game, the screens look real nice, and the touchscreen controls look inviting.

The people making this and other licensed crap are A2M (aka Artificial Mind and Movement and erm not Ass to mouth), not AM2. Completely different developer. Also I think most of AM2 who made the good stuff have left.

Spider-Man 3 was mediocre, at best ... and reviews mean nothing, as 99% of reviewers nowadays are paid shills ... they either are told to go for a title, or go against it.
