Hacking IOS and DLC problems

well i want to run the beatles rock band DLC and i can only run it if all of the memory is on the wii when i try to play the song from te SD it says song could not be moved to system memory
do you tink 4.1 and beatles is 4.2 which lets you play stuff from the SD
if so should i just download the IOS with NUSD or update to 4.2
thnx guys

EDIT: i mean i can only play the song when SD card mode is off is that normal

EDIT2: oh yeah i also need the number of the IOS coz i have no idea wat it is and what ver IOS

well i have a new problem i ran the 4.2 updater but i had a 4.2 theme installed im in homebrew but i dont want to get out coz im scared its bricked wat can i do

EDIT: ignore this topic i made a different one concerning my new problem
