You don't need to type anything - just drag package3 or the firmware folder onto the menu box and the paths are filled in automatically for you.
Perhaps theres something on page 11 that you might want?
Yes, just found it thanks! Forgive my noobness, but I am not sure how to use the tool now that I downloaded it. Is there a guide somewhere?
I know it can be exasperating to have people like me asking dumb questions, but I genuinely have no idea how else to get the latest sigpatches for the latest atmosphere. I was told to come here and use this tool to generate my own. I've downloaded the tool and have no idea how to use it. I tried downloading python to do it manually but python did not accept the first line of code I typed into it (as per the guide). Please help if anyone can, I'm just trying to get sigpatches... I don't mind how!

Oh wait, this is the tutorial I already tried. The very first instruction, to execute those two commands in python, did not work for me.
I also tried downloading the auto sigpatch creator, as I mentioned, but how do you use it?
This was solved. Needed to run commands using cmd.exe.

Here you go windows users - this is a small test program made in c# (so you'll need net framework installed on your computer if you don't already have it) for creating Atmosphere Loader IPS patches. I just knocked it together today quickly and will post the code up on github when I make a nice gui + add the ES/FW stuff, maybe even I'll add a few extra things while I'm at it - in the meantime you can test it if you want, no need for python to be installed with this and no need for key files as you don't need those for the Atmosphere loader, so nothing illegal is in this program. GUI is crappy just now, obviously I'll make it nicer once the code is all done.
To use - open the program, drag your package3 file onto it - the Atmosphere loader IPS patch will be made automatically if everything went to plan.

On Windows 10 and 11 UAC avoid a window on standard user mode send data to a Elevated (Run as Administrator) one, if you run the CMD as standard user, the dragging works.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.+1 -

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.+1 -
