ROM Hack Im a drowning noob with a life vest

I Just found out about 3DS homebrews like today. Im running 11.0.0.33? Anyway i was able to get to homebrew menu with Oot but whenever i try to use jk save manager it freezes at a yellow screen and i have to restart my DS. What am i doing wrong. Sorry if this is the wrong board to post on. Any help is appreciated.

It's the wrong place, this is about ROM hacking.

As for your question, I think JK save manager needs kernel access.
Not sure about it but it could explain the reason it freezes.
I'm sure someone more knowledgeable then me would correct me.

yes, and rom hacking isn't anything to do with what you're trying to do. rom hacking means editing games.

Thats true i just thought that because this is a way to edit game saves people here would have some insight.
