If I were to buy a G6 Lite...could I use my Max Media Launcher instead of buying a Passme?

I would assume so but it hasn't been tested yet.

Max Media Launcher is a passme device. Since G6 tests well with it, I don't see why G6 Lite would not.

Superkey, Passcard3 or Neo MK4 Mini would be a much better choice. No sleep mode makes MML kinda obselete IMHO.

Plus, it's reported the DS can last up to several hundred hours in sleep mode.

I once put it in sleep mode and it lasted more than 10 hours in it with lots of juice still in it when I fell asleep in bed.

But yeah, my point was I just fell asleep after I put it in sleep mode and it lasted all night.
