let people do what they likes. It's not your spent time.
Some are collecting stamp, other money pieces, etc.
You don't share their passion, that's all, they won't have a reward for what they are doing either.

I'm collecting because I like to share with friend/family who will need even 1 files over all the collection, but he will be happy.
It's like : Why do I burn anime I've watched, I could delete them ! (no, I can please friends when they ask me if I have it, even if it's 10 years old)
Some materials are rare nowadays and when I think "I should have keep it back then", that's just too bad. (for example, I would like to have a pictures of my Primary school informatics room, with TO7+server), that would not give me any reward, but who cares.
Think about it like nostalgia.

I wouldn't be able to download every single DS Game dump. I have a 60 GB cap with my Rogers Internet. Freaking ripoff.
