If I was only going to play one Pokemon game... which should it be?

There are so many... but which is the best/most enjoyable?

mostly, if you are going to play just one then yes, ds has better graphic, get platinum or wait for soul silver/heart gold

GBA Pokemon games are fun too. My favorite is FR/LG.

Still, I would recommend getting the DS ones since you can do lots of things through Wifi.

I used to own Pikachu Yellow for GB many many years ago... but I got bored of it quite quickly and sold it... But now I think I'll give Pokemon another go...

The newest, and modified versions of Pokemon Silver and Gold, seem worth the wait.

But I liked Platinum. But more so Pokemon Silver. It just seemed more interesting.

I would preferably play Fire Red/Leaf Green or Soul Silver/Heart Gold. Probably because I liked playing with the old pokemons as the main basis for pokemons instead of these new pokemons out for Diamond/Pearl/Platinum.

if gba is considered.. i would suggest some of the homebrew games... like ruby destiny or rijon adventures... but if its ds i would suggest to w8 for soul silver or heart gold...

I would recommend Fire Red or Leaf Green, that's classic Pokemon. Personally I think Diamond/Pearl/Platinum are a bit overdone, story-wise.
