IIRC it already does, but Xenoblade at least just gives a black screen.

Fwiw, NTR is arm11 only, not the other way around.

So my O3dsxl sysnand is on 4.5 and i have no original game to update it to 9.2 to do a system transfer to my 9.2 N3dsxl,
i know i can't use my emunand to do the transfer, and am searching for a way to update my 4.5 sysnand to 9.2 without buying an original game to use this spoof firmware method.
I found a few posts asking this but none with a solution, not even flashing an emunand into sysnand...

I have a gateway and CN to mess around with. Would something like that sysUpdater.cia work? or anything else?

Flashing emunand to sys will work as long as the version is 9.2 or under. Just be prepared to hard mod the thing if something goes wrong

oh ok, tks, i do have a 9.2 emunand backup but i thought i read somewhere that it wouldn't work if the emunand was over 6.1 or so.

My understanding is that as long as you update and install through emuNAND using 9.7, sysNAND will gain those privledges if the NNID is linked.

Example:

Launch rxMode. Redownload your eShop game. Update the eShop game. Now it's in working condition. With NNID linked go back to SysNAND and try launching the updated eShop game. Should work...? Then copy old savedata from your backup to emuNAND folders and your old savedata will load and the game should work in sysNAND.

I think I have that right... let me launch updated SSB in 9.2 sysNAND... BRB.

Yup. It works. Even connected to online play. Just need to restore old savedata from my SD backup...

My sysNAND is 9.2
Mt emuNAND is 9.7
they are linked with rxTools

You can mess with ticket.db directly, but it's very hard.

download in on 9.2 via the spoof, then make emunand, get to 9.4, and play the game

I tried and it didn't work, SysNAND version 4.2.0-9U. The browser just hanged there and eventually kicked me out to the Home Menu with an error message, saying I should reboot. I installed v17567 of the Browser system app, which correlates to the Browser version used in 9.2.0-20U, but I still got the same error afterwards. Is the code.bin only compatible with SysNANDs 9.x or something?

1) Did you clear things in browser?
2) It could just not work. *shrug*

Browser mods should only work in 9.x since they use other things besides the browser for injection

Any idea what might cause me to not even be able to connect to the n3ds? I always get the following error:

"No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it"

I made sure the IP is correct by making it static and the debugger is running.
