How do I games and saves off broken “new” 3ds to replacement “new” 3ds?

Because of the situation I’m in, I don’t think I can Do a file transfer, or just copy and paste between SD cards, please see below

My new 3DS LL Converted to English, broke and does not work. I have the SD card with several saves and games on it. I was able to get a replacement new 3DS LL, That I have not converted to English yet, but will. I want to know how to get my games and saves off the old SD card onto the new SD card. I can’t use the 3DS‘s is to do this via transfer because the old one doesn’t work.

I don’t think I can just put the old SD card in the new system can I? I thought there was a serial number that had to be copied over, and a bunch of other stuff.

where are the files and save located so that I can copy that over to the new card for the new system?

Is there a better way to do this?

you'd need your movable.sed I think or, at least with saves, backed up with checkpoint.

Thank you, my problem is I can’t get into the old 3DS, oh are you saying use checkpoint on the new one With the old card? Will using the old card and a new system cause a brick? As in, I’m not gonna do anything special to the old card I’m just gonna stick it in there

You can't use use saves from another system without decrypting them first..
