Two-year-old 'Matilda' becomes youngest ever girl in Mensa
By DUNCAN ROBERTSON

Her parents knew Georgia Brown was bright. After all, she could count to ten, recognised her colours and was even starting to dabble with French.

But it was only when their bubbly little two-year-old took an IQ test that her towering intellect was confirmed.

Georgia has become the youngest female member of Mensa after scoring a genius-rated IQ of 152.

She beats me for 15 points BTW

My 5 year old sings We Will Rock You, and Cars.
(in ca-ars, da dum, da dum, pshhhh!)

He refuses to sing any and all nursery rhymes though.

Oh, and he knows the Spiderman theme song too.

I'm trying to teach him Back in the Saddle by Aerosmith, and maybe a Devo song or two.

Then my work will be complete and I can die with a satisfied mind.

lol

Only let your children watch a television show only if you have viewed it beforehand. It's also ideal to allow them to watch shows in one language, then play it again in another. Once they learn to read, allow them to watch shows with subtitles, cycling through languages if possible. I can practically guarantee they will learn all of the languages that you want them to while increasing their reading skills.

They didn't bother research the IQ difference between people with siblings and only child?
If only child has lower IQ than child with younger siblings, I would ask for a little brother! And my son would be about the same age as my brother! How cool would that be... Like... they'd be both in grade 1 and one calls another uncle? Their classmates would be soooo confused

Like almost many other "beahvioural" traits, intelligence (or one of many standard definitions of intelligence) is based on both genetics and experience. So stupid people should be kept from procreating and intelligent people should be kept from raising their kids stupidly

but inheriting intelligence from ancestors is vague... traits can skip one generation and suddenly appear to another. stupid people can still mate, well as long as they kill their dumb kids and raise the good ones
