"CMDVDX34 should pop up and you should have a Downgrade IOS35 option to patch IOS35 to a lower revision" I'm assuming thats dvdx, I've tried this method without luck aswell. Did not work with my virgin 4.0U wii. If it works for others let me know please.

well if your wii is lu64 im guessing thats why it isent working.

I know the tutorials are close but, doesn't bother me as there is only one way to do it so they would always be close haha.


ALSO BE SURE NO BACKUPLAUCHER .dol's or Pirated .dol's are on your SD Card as that will make CDVDX not work also.

Newer Wiis
If you got yours on launch, you should be fine.

Check the serial number on the bottom of your Wii.
If it starts with LU64 or LU65, your have one of the new "unhackable" Wiis.

Bootmii won't work on new Wiis. Nintendo fixed boot1 and well before the LU64-Starlet-fix at that...
