hey thanks, everything is working; read that you need to use the pokemon center, but what to do on my old3ds?
Do I need to delete my internet connection? I didn't see any other info on the most recent reddit thread
everything is cycling in windows, now when I try to setup pokemon center in my wireless connection (pcWmRnSd23G6LdA8)
It ask me for a password, but I don't know the password, or this thing is automatic?

It's all automatic, it sets up a virtual network that shares your normal internet connection. Just make sure you select sharing in your wifi connection properties. Don't use Marco Polo, but the other three hotspots work.
Also that link you posted says use 'NbaHomePass.exe BASE256.txt true 60 30' but I find using 'NbaHomePass.exe BASE256.txt true 300 30' gives more hits as it gives your 3DS more time to connect to the hotspot.

Does this also allow me to get Streetpass for other games such as Pokemon Omega Ruby? Trying to get the Eon ticket by streetpassing is nearly impossible and the serial code won't work either because I'm jumping on the bandwagon just now (no I won't use cheat codes)
Is it possible to use Windows 10? Windows 10 has a hotspot feature which allows me to share Wi-Fi while using Wi-Fi (you could argue my Wi-Fi card is dual band and it is but its connecting to a 2.4GHZ router and it shares the connection at 2.4GHZ as well and works well with my smartphone and 3DS) so I was wondering how would I be able of doing this?

I just manage to set homepass using MacOS, which was pretty easy by the way.
I've read that by now we should only be using attwifi & Nintendo_Zone1 as SSID due to 3DS system update; is this info correct? Or can I use any of the above listed SSID with an open security combining them with diferents MAC addresses?
Something like permutations using the MAC's listed in homepass.info spreadsheet.

hello everybody, I was wondering if the homepass stills working, i Have a New 3DSXL in 11.50.0-38U, and tried with all the andorid tutorials, also with RhyzHomepass but i dont recived any streetpass, which tutorial should i follow?

I have update RhyzHomepass to version 2.0.
It adds Streetpasses Locations from the real world. This requires your NIC to spoof more macs. See: https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-have-a-homemade-streetpass-relay.352645/page-364#post-6914028
The ability to add more Macs to a text file for more passes. These MAC Addresses can be found at https://wigle.net by searching for the SSID, I haven't added anymore since ~November 2016. If you do find more please share them here! Note the only MACs that work with Windows need to be in the format X2:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX, X6:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX, XA:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX, or XE:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX (Where X is anything)

Is there anything that would cause this to work on my og 3ds (on a really old firmware) and N3ds (11.5, cfw)? I did it on mac. OG3ds immediately tagged, new3ds...nothing.
MacShift is just to check that you can spoof your Mac Address to the ones needed. You can try 42:53:50:4F:4F:50, 46:53:50:4F:4F:50, 4A:53:50:4F:4F:50 and 4E:53:50:4F:4F:50.
If you can spoof to these correctly then RhyzHomepass 2.0 will work just fine for you.
The MacShift line in cmd should be macshift MAC ADDRESS -i "Wireless Network Connection" So for example macshift 42:53:50:4F:4F:50 "Wireless Network Connection" Where Wireless Network Connection is the name of your Wireless Card
Different 3DS Firmware works with different Networks, check https://yls8.mtheall.com/ninupdates/3ds_nzonehotspots.php to see what Networks are compatible with your firmware and make a choice from there.

@TwoSpikedHands, I'll preface this with the fact that I know nothing about the game, but, I think it depends on what your goals are. Are you trying to make a definitive version of the game? You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one

@Sicklyboy I am wanting to fully change the game and bend it to my will lol. I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it!

I am definitely considering porting over some of the EU features without using the actual ROM itself, tbh that would probably be the best way to go about it... but i'm sad that the voice acting is so.... not good on the US version. May not be a way around that though
