    I'm not sure what you're asking, but you can use the macs from the MAC folder with MacShift if you that's what you're asking

    @DaftMink Thanks, do you know if I have any other options to rotate MAC address without doing it manually? I've tried looking for Chron jobs but I can't figure out how to implement them.

    @Kerensky18 Went to using this pre-made Cron script that changes mac every 10 minutes.

    In DD-WRT go to Administration and Paste this into Additional Cron Jobs:
    Code:
    0 0,3,6,9,12,15,18,21 * * * root nvram set def_whwaddr=4E:53:50:4F:4F:40 sleep 3 && nvram commit sleep 5 && reboot
    9 0,3,6,9,12,15,18,21 * * * root nvram set def_whwaddr=4E:53:50:4F:4F:41 sleep 3 && nvram commit sleep 5 && reboot
    18 0,3,6,9,12,15,18,21 * * * root nvram set def_whwaddr=4E:53:50:4F:4F:42 sleep 3 && nvram commit sleep 5 && reboot

    Anybody know if it matters what the Virtual mac is? Every tutorial and mac switcher just changes the mac address of the wifi card and leaves windows to automatically give a mac to the virtual one. Since I haven't got this to work yet, I'm not sure whether or not this is intended.
    [IMG]
    Notice how the attwifi (virtual) is one number different at the end from the physical?
    At first, I assumed that this was all intended but on my laptop this is what happens when you input the same mac address

    [IMG]

    As you can see, instead of the last octet changing from 46 to 47, the first octet changed from 4E to 4C (Wi-Fi is the wifi card again)

    So anybody know if this is fine or if I have to put new macs in to reverse each change?

    Alright, so I got it to work and I'm getting a shit ton of streetpasses now. Not sure about the virtual mac thing yet, I'll have to try that on my laptop to know for sure, but I found out that if you're using Windows HostedNetwork, you have to also use a Nintendo SSID that's supposed to have an encryption because HostedNetwork can't be unencrypted. So in this case, pick anything with a SecurityMode of 7 as your SSID, then use any Mac cycler to go through all the Macs. You cannot use attwifi, or anything with a 0 SecurityMode on Windows unless someone finds a way to make a virtual network without a password.

    I use Virtual Router Manager to verify my virtual network is starting properly, and TMAC to verify my Mac Address is actually cycling. That MACycle program with all the links dead looks really nice but it won't change my MAC properly so I'm using NBAHomePass -> Connected to Ethernet -> Pokemon Crenter (Game Spain should also work too, but I haven't tried it.) This is what my setup looks like [IMG]

    I still have this running, but for some reason I don't seem to be getting any streetpasses lately. Not sure if it's just because people are moving on, or if something went dead on my end. MACs are changing properly...

    The exact combo of ssid+mac must be something also used by others, plus you can't streetpass yourself so the number of contacts would decrease to 0 if nobody else uses the pairs you're using - and even in real NZs around here, I don't always get 6 contacts even after a month...

    That's a shame. Used to be I'd have 10 new hits within a few minutes.

    EDIT: What SSID am I supposed to be using now? I still had it at [email protected], and wasn't getting anything. Switched it to attwifi again (thought this was dead?) and it popped some passes almost immediately. Did it change again in the past few months?

    It wound up working with SSID as attwifi, not [email protected] like it used to. No idea when that changed, but it was working ok again.
