Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

I got nbahomepass 1.1 working, it's cycling through MAC addresses as it should and my 3DS shows its connected online which I assume is to it (I deleted all networks to play it safe.)

I'm still not receiving streetpass, any idea what I'm missing? Is there something in the DNS that needs to be set? It's all set to automatic if that matters.

I have that problem too, unfortunately, but only with my laptop. It's most likely because the Wi-Fi adapter you're using is incompatible or something. The best way to test this theory is to just try another computer and/or Wi-Fi adapter to see if it works properly. If it does, you should know that it has something to do with your computer/adapter. So is the SSID ConsoleNintendo3DS ok for homepassing or should it be changed? What about connecting to it, it can receive internet without a password despite being a locked network which I find odd.

The Nintendozone app doesn't glow blue like it normally does when its in a streetpass/homepass zone.

I used the adapter I was using on my laptop from the first time I was doing homepass rather than the internal wireless settings. I'm currently on my desktop using homepass.

It works with Windows 10, but just barely. Windows 10 loves to fail on people lol

Is the golden pants mod possible on 9.2+ 3DS systems or is it kernel exclusive?

I've been asking how to do it for awhile but no one can respond.

Also if anyone has Ultimate Angler, have you caught the following fish?
- Golden Salmon
- Golden Tuna
- Blooper
- Golden Shark
- Golden Bream

Homepass can only help so much and its even less helpful when you come across the exact same people 5x in a row.

It should be possible on any firmware. I've did the mod on 10.1 and upgraded to 10.2 and still have em'. As long as you have the Homebrew Launcher it should work. Check this out https://gbatemp.net/threads/3ds-mii-modifier-computer-utility.396653/

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought it didn't work with an ethernet connection? Only a wireless one?

Apologies if I've read it wrong but your update sounds like you sharing it the wrong way. You need to share your main connection with the console3dsone, not share it with your main one

I did tried both ways actually. It didnt work at all like no matter how i share the connection it always says no internet or network access

Ok, I don't know if this will make sense or help anyone, but this is what I do on Windows 10. The only thing I change, is the driver for my TPLink dongle, the one that Windows chooses gives me reconnection errors. I don't mess with the DNS or anything else.

To start with, this my adapter page. The disabled Wifi M is my inbuilt card that doesn't allow mac changing. The Wifi is my TPLink dongle and as you can see it's shared.

The other non wifi connections aren't disabled as if I do that, I don't get this drop down box and cannot choose to share the connection with the Local area connection/ConsoleNintendo3DS
For some reason Windows doesn't always automatically share it properly even when it's the only one to share it with!

Next, I start cmd as administrator and type in what I want NbaHomePass to do -

Then go back to the sharing settings of my main connection and check it's sharing with the local connection -

And that's it! I just close my ds and wait for the passes. I don't delete my main connection on the 3ds anymore, if I want to get passes while using it I just add a number to the end of the ssid so that it can't connect to it.

I have a favor to ask, everyone on homepass hasn't caught the last 3 mystery fish I'm looking for. Can you please tell me what Mac addresses you visit so I can street pass you? Whenever I streetpass a special mii I'm guaranteed to see a new mystery fish regardless if you played the game or not.

I occasionally use this NBA's Homepass program at my grandmother's house. I usually use the BASE256 MAC addresses that come with it. However, since I'm not always around my grandmother's PC, you can try using my personal MAC address on my laptop to reach me. I'm not certain if it'll work though. 00:1E:64:22:4C:80

Yeah I use Base256 addresses too, but I've only met you once over a sea of regulars. When is the next time you can homepass? I have a set of private Mac addresses you can visit, I own all the current puzzle pieces if that helps. If you need any specific colored shirt for your games I can change to it too.
