PS this is a guide to set up the connection and not how to get streetpasses. I will write that one later after people get this working first!

That's go to everyone who were involved in helping me and others hopefully we can help more people with their problems!

Okay, so I couldn't get the Linux or Android methods to work so I gave up on that. I installed DD-WRT on my router and got the script installed. I set my 2.4Ghz AP to NZ@McD1 and made it an open network. I'm not getting at street passes though. Am I doing something wrong? I'm trying to do this on the N3DS on firmware version 9.5.

Thanks

If your available later tonight we can attempt to home pass each other since I'm on 9.5 firmware as well. It will test that "theory" I was mentioning earlier.

I don't know what time zone you're in but I'm in Pacific time and I'm available now. Let me know what you plan on doing. I definitely see my N3DS go into Street Pass relay mode. It shows the green street pass thing in the top left corner where the connection details are. I left it in standby mode all day while I went to work and didn't get any street passes when I came home.

EDIT: Kept screwing with my router because I wanted to add a guest network. Somehow I got home pass working on 9.5 so it definitely does work.

I know this isn't completely related but maybe somebody has the answer.
Anyone using an Asus RT-N66U or anything comparable to it like the AC66U or AC68U? I'm trying to setup DD-WRT to have a guest network unbridged so I can leave that one open and leave my actual networks protected. Will duke-srg's script work with the guest network? If not, can I set my 2.4Ghz AP to be open and just make a guest network and use my normal SSID and protect that? Will that mess up the script? I've been trying to add that guest network under DD-WRT's virtual interface function but the SSID keeps getting messed up. It works for a second and then it seems to clone the first word of the SSID of the regular network.

Thanks for any help.

I am getting a steady 2-9 SP's now. Though it averages more in the below 5 range. But still, I have gotten about 100 SP's since it started running a couple hours ago--which is a huge improvement over no SP's at all, lol.

I also seem to be getting the same Mii's a lot. But I guess it doesn't really matter, since they still give me stuff.

For anyone curious, I am using the Glacier Gaming guide linked above and Windows 7.

OK, I need to look at this.

Get yourself a compatible Wi-Fi USB Stick, i had that error with my other Wi-Fi usb stick, seems it wasn't compatible
So i took a change and bought the cheap one from DX (J-Link LJ-6100) for $12,14 (€10,63), It works flawless!
