So is there any truth to homepassing with users only on your firmware? It seems likely false but just asking to be safe.
I hope this helps someone and please if you are stuck or don't understand something ask we will help asap
PS this is a guide to set up the connection and not how to get streetpasses. I will write that one later after people get this working first!
That's go to everyone who were involved in helping me and others hopefully we can help more people with their problems!
If your available later tonight we can attempt to home pass each other since I'm on 9.5 firmware as well. It will test that "theory" I was mentioning earlier.Okay, so I couldn't get the Linux or Android methods to work so I gave up on that. I installed DD-WRT on my router and got the script installed. I set my 2.4Ghz AP to NZ@McD1 and made it an open network. I'm not getting at street passes though. Am I doing something wrong? I'm trying to do this on the N3DS on firmware version 9.5.
Thanks

I am getting a steady 2-9 SP's now. Though it averages more in the below 5 range. But still, I have gotten about 100 SP's since it started running a couple hours ago--which is a huge improvement over no SP's at all, lol.
I also seem to be getting the same Mii's a lot. But I guess it doesn't really matter, since they still give me stuff.
For anyone curious, I am using the Glacier Gaming guide linked above and Windows 7.
I keep getting this error with my Raspberry Pi.
Yes it should workduke_srg I did maccheck.cmd and this resulted http://imgur.com/1xVgRgL Is this compatible for homepass? Thanks!
Hi, just to confirm, is it true that we can no longer use the windows hosted network method to homepass anymore?
IIRC netsh's hostednetwork requires a password, which probably won't work with whatever SSID we have to use now.
http://www.glaciergaming.co.uk/articles/640/homepass-for-3ds-version-94-on-windowsDarn. Looks like I'll have to find a new method then... Thanks.
Maccheck result please, this screenshot looks like MAC can't be changed.duke_srg I followed Windows (native) instructions and but I can not receive any streetpass. Any suggestions on what can I do?
Start nzone again with BASE256 and check within several minutes is BSSID changing in netsh wlan show hostednetwork outputduke_srg this resulted for maccheck.cmd http://imgur.com/1xVgRgL
