Quick question: Is it normal for my e-shop not to work while I'm using homepass? It is saying that the e-shop is not available in my country for some reason. Granted we don't have an official e-shop, I didn't have a problem connecting before. SSID: NZ@mcd1 , password protected.
doesn't work for me. keep getting this message after typing my admin password
attwifi:~ petergriffin$ sudo ifconfig en1 ether xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
Password:
ifconfig: ioctl (SIOCAIFADDR): Invalid argument
wat do I have to do to fix this problem?
You need to put hw ether not just ether
Sorry, I do not understand. This is my first mac and just have it one day...
Do I have to type this in termninal: sudo ifconfig en1 hw ether xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
I did it. but get the message: ifconfig: hw: bad value
Paste this command:
sudo ifconfig en1 down; sudo ifconfig en1 hw ether xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx; sudo ifconfig en1 up
doesn't work for me. keep getting this message after typing my admin password

So, I'm fairly new to this whole thing. Apologies for being blatantly ignorant here.
How would I go about getting this up on Tomato? I'm running Tomato RAF Version 1.28.9014 on an ASUS Asus RT-N16, if that is of any help.
Tested with NZ@McD1, both sec and no sec are ok.
I didn't change my mac though.
If you have no problems with Internet path through the connection, then yes, NZ@McD1 must work as a streetpass source regardless of the security (unlike attwifi and several others)
Duke, which SSID are we regarding as primary now? Still attwifi or NZ@McD1?
I've also put a guide together on how to get this working with Windows 8.1 (Should work with any version of Windows tbh). I will upload this later tonight.
