Mine's like change in a random time scale, but meh, it's just about changing the last part of the numbers.

Depending on your router you can set up DHCP to assign each device on your network a static ip.
Alternately u can extend he lease period so ips last longer.

Sorry if reviving an old thread but:

VERSION beta2 revision 3 is released!!

What's New:

1-Two more questions to the FAQ
2-Added a Version section in the top of the guide
3-Added a guide on how to set a static IP to your Wii so it won't change its IP

Try re-downloading/re-sending ftpii. That would help.. I've tried both preparation methods (Sendelf and sd card reader) all works fine.

Does FTPii support USB HDDs?

Maybe, maybe not. Tell us the results

this program is pretty faulty. when i start it 2 out of 3 times it will just freeze with a black screen and i have to reset the damn console.

You used 0.0.16 or 0.0.15?

0.0.15 is stable, and never fails me.

Kind of a long shot, but, have you got the latest cIOS installed? Try installing cios rev 07.
Then try redownloading ftpii.

That's what I said, latest version (ftpii 0.0.16) is unstable, try ftpii 0.0.15 in the guide.

Ooh, and, I was walking my friend throughout this guide, he still won't understand it.

I'm gonna revamp this guide.
