    Listen up fellas! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/lecture.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":teach:" border="0" alt="lecture.gif" />
This guide is made for newbies or people who doesn't have the knowledge of getting FTPii up and running. The sole reason of this guide is to ensure that newbies and other people understand how to use FTPii. <b>Also, this guide doesn't only show how do you use FTPii, it also shows you how to treat it like an FTP server should</b> (<b>Which, I believe isn't in the README</b>). This is also for you people who never read the readme.

Oh, and whatever you say, 0.0.15 is still the best and most stable version. The latest release and 0.0.16 dies on me.

    Very nice work afif95!!!!
    It's very newbie proof....
And you brought a new feature to light that I was unaware of... You can dump your discs with ftpii... Nice....
I'm gonna have to research the speeds on this....

    -Kitt050383

Personally I like using my USBGecko device to rip my Wii discs.... only takes about 2hrs...

nice tutorial. this is one of my favorite apps. i never have to eject my sd card. my card reader is bunk and i dont want to look for my camera to use THAT as my card reader. only to transfer a less than 1mb file. also my computer is in another room, so im walking back forth down the hall and confusing the hell out of my wife. i can just start ftpii and swap files between my computer and my wii. i recommend version 0.1.5, since i find that 0.1.6 is a bit buggy and doesnt always boot. many ftp applications can be used with this, but i like to use filezilla.

also, system of a down rocks!

Bold 1 : I haven't confirmed this yet lol. Just stating the feature.

I, too, am using version 0.0.15 . I don't think that I'll update for the time being.

I really appreciate the effort. I really need this since my cheap ass card reader is very temperamental.

3)Added a few infos on the Windows Explorer section and FAQ section

4)Uploaded version 0.0.15 together with 0.0.16 in a RAR archive over MegaUpload and Rapidshare server, being that version 0.0.15 no longer exists on ftpii's homepage.

Top man! hey seen as you done it for a "easy app" to use which has the all important info instructions on wiibrew and in the readme..
i think you may be required to tut all other "easy" important appps that many dont bother to read, what i dont get is they cant take up on boared a simple readme yet they can a nice looking tutorial, both give the same "required" info......nevermind [IMG]

I'm not sure who was struggling with this... [IMG]

Just to add.. filezilla is a free ftp client that does not need firefox.

Well, I struggled when I started to use it [IMG]

Yeah, I know, I started with FileZilla, then knowing that I have not a single clue of what I'm doing, did a lil research and voila, resolved to Windows Explorer and FireFTP.

But then realized that FileZilla uses almost the same user interface as FireFTP [IMG].

Nevertheless, version beta3 should be upped in like, a week time? [IMG]

I was trying to boot ftpii from my PC directly into the homebrew channel as I do with some of my other homebrew apps.

Putting the actual ftpii into my SD card worked.
