Is "buy-acekard.com" a legit site? I just got an Acekard2i from there, and it seems legit. Except for one thing. On the DS Lite's menu, instead of saying "Acekard", and having the AceKard2i Logo, it has another icon and name. Although the cart works fine.

The buy-acekard.com acekard 2i looks legit but you will really be able to tell when you get the card. Peal back the sticker care fully as the numbers aren't permanently on the acekard. The numbers reside in the residue, so to speak.

I ordered an Acekard 2i for a friend of mine from the site zhuzhuchina.com which is an official reseller for Acekard.com.

Whenever I try to enter the anti counterfit code it says "Sorry, the Anti-Counterfeit code is not exsit! You bought a FAKE Acekard!"
It came without the front sticker attached and the sticker looks relatively smaller than the area where it is now attached.(it did have the anti counterfit sticker attached before I peeled that off)
Unfortunately the code portion has been partially removed, I don't know how as I removed the sticker myself. I cannot tell what one of the digits are plus I do not know how I am supposed to enter the code? Top lines first then bottom lines? or Left top, left bottom, right top, right bottom? can someone help me out?

Thanks, I don't know how many times I entered it like this and got the same FAKE message. I tried it again and triple checked all the digits and it came up as LEGIT and it had not been checked before. The face sticker being smaller and having to be attached myself still kinda makes me wonder but I guess as long as it works it's fine as it will likely never need updating since it's pretty much the end of the DS's life cycle.

Damn it!
Just got one and when I lifted the Anticlone sticker I smudged some numbers! They rub off real easy.
Installed AKAIO.1.8.9 on my sd and it seems to work so I don't know. I guess I'll assume it's real.

I have a stupid question here.

I bought an AK2i from V2Watch.com and I can't get the anti-counterfeit code to check out. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if the card is fake. Are you supposed to put spaces between each number set, or are you supposed to type them all together?

Also, I have another, more important question: when I peeled off the sticker, I notice a all of the digits are backwards (numbers are all facing the wrong way). I figure this could be a quirk of Chinese manufacturers not being familiar with English numbers, but it made me suspicious. Has anyone with a legitimate Acekard had that happen?

Lastly, it runs the latest firmware with no problem. I heard that the fake AK2i can't update, so I downloaded the Dsi firmware update and ran it on my DSL and it worked. Does that prove it's real? I don't actually own a DSi or a 3DS so I have no idea if it works in those consoles after the update or not, but the update went through with no error messages.

the most we can distinguish is AK2 cannot paly with DSI. and ak2i is much cheaper than ak2.

Hi,

I have spent much time seeking a method of correcting my issue. Have had two working Ak2is for over a year now and this is the first time I am stumped so hoping you can help...

I have two Ak2is, both bought from the same seller over a year ago. I have successfully updated one of them to AKAIO 1.9.0 and Ak2i FW 1.4.4.

Upon attempting to perform the exact same thing on the second Ak2i I receive the message : Clone 5 - It may not be a genuine Acekard etc.

I have :-

- reformatted SD card using Panasonic SD Formatter
- Added AKAIO 1.9.0 to the root of the SD card
- Added the FW 1.4.4 .nds file to the root of the SD card
- Run the Alex Rider Stormbreaker THQ menu
- But instead of the menu loading correctly I receive the above error

I have also checked the Real Ak2i thread, and my Ak2i appears to be genuine i.e. not cloned, and I reiterate that I have no issue with the other Ak2i bought at the same time from the same seller. Is there anyway around this issue before I buy a new Ak2i ?

Just got a cheap acekard 2i from ebay and am wondering if it's fake, it has gaps on the a's like in this image, the sticker was also super misaligned. I cant find akaio 1.4.1 anywhere to check is there another method without taking the card apart? It shows up on both n3dsxl and dsixl as acecard 2i with the ak2 logo. Also is there anything wrong with the fakes if it is one or is it not really a problem?

Also unlaunch is unable to boot it for some reason it just goes to a black screen, it works from the hiyacfw home menu though
