Hello, i have a softmodded wii v 4.2u, everything runs fine, i was wondering how to add a homebrew app to the wii channels, such as neogamma or usb loader, i found the wads for these however, when i go to wad manager v1.5, what do i select, which IOS to install this to? I tried 249 and they tried to load from SD but it just gives me an error somthing like -1ret or somthing.

Thanks in advance

i got this error using either wad manager 1.4 or 1.5. i found the problem was the SD card i was using was an 8gig card. when i used a 1gig card everything worked fine.

Delete them with the Wii menu or uninstall them with wad manager(but you need the wad of the channel on the sd)

    aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
in that case, there is no such thing as homebrew launcher for aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
you have to launch your homebrews directly from the wii u menu
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
there is a plugin that display them on the wii u menu, pretty sure it is enabled by default
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    so like it doesnt exist
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    yeah
    ?
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
it doesn't exist, at least not for aroma

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    it is L+dpad down+ select
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
but homebrew is appearing in the home menu btw
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
    yes, now I remember it
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
then it is working, I also don't like that they did this but it is the only option you have if you are using aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
