Hacking How many games could i get on an 80gb hard drive?

im gonna be getting a free 80gb hard drive from my friend. about how many games would i be able to fit on there?

i know all games have different sizes once they are scrubbed down by the WBFS, but i just want an estimate.

i'd say best luck 20, probably about 15-17 if there good titles.

well 80/4.35 is about 18, so i think itd be higher than 18

I have a partition thats a bit over 185G. With 31 games, I have used close to 85G. So I would think around 25 tops. Of course, this all depends on the games you are loading on your drive.

yer you might get that many games if your playing Hamster Heroes or Wii Chess lol

but the majority of the latest titles are 4gb or so.

No one seems to acknowledge that an 80GB HD formatted is actually ~78gb. Lol i know that's not a HUGE differnce, but you have fit 4 games on 2gb if you choose the right ones

I have axactly 32 titles in a 80gb HDD right now (and have about 12gb free), but thats including some pretty small games like wii music and wii play, but also including smash bros brawl (almost 7gb).

I must say, i have a mixture of big games (brawl included) and small games (wii sports

) on my 500gb .
I have only used 50.35gb and i have 24 games on it

(Considering, IMO, the Wii doesn't have that many "killer apps" to begin with

I have an 80GB WBFS partition for my games, and I have 40, with room for a couple of more small ones if I wanted.

I've got a 100gb, at 48gb i've got 30 games, that's ssbb, mario galaxy, some first party titles, some really not enjoyable (IMHO, others disagree, so they went on) titles. A decent mix.

I guess that's roughly 1600mb each, so let's estimate 80/1.6666 and get 48?

I'm going to say you'll fit about 40-45 average or better games on an 80gb hdd.

My game average is 2.2gb per game, that witha fair mix of larger titles and smaller ones, I think its a pretty good average.

I have 47 games installed today. Its Using 111gb. I would say you might could get upto 30 games depending on the games used.

76ish actually available gigs

26 Games of various sizes installed

34 gigs remain....

so I'm gonna say depending on size,

40+ games easily, more than enough for me to just keep my faves/tiny ones on there.
