ROM Hack how do i change text in nds games

how do i change text in nds games i tried opening the nds file in programmer's notepad thinking tht it would show the text as text but no.Yes in tried searching the site

You can't do that using a notepad. You have to have expert hacking tools as well as know how to program using a hex editor and other things.

tom10122, you made an odd post. For the most part, you cant simply change the text in games.
This caused the somewhat offensive posts, as posts like yours get posted every now and then.

Anyways, it's not exactly an easy thing to do, especially at your age. Have a read at http://romhacking.net/start/
If you're still interested after that, extract the rom, find the script and experiment. Install the Japanese language pack if you can't see any text.

With that said. id have loved to get into this sorta of thing at that age

tom10122 for which game do you want to change text. Depending on the game someone might have worked out an easier way. Not that I don't recommend that you learn all the intricacies that are required to change text in general.

Lol, half of you guys that replied here are worse than him. You too psycoblaster.
First of all Programmer's notepad can act as a hex editor but I wouldn't really recommend it, go download XVI32 or Hex Workshop if you want to mess with an English game or WindHex if you want to mess with Japanese/Chinese/Etc. games that use an alphabet different from the English one.

Programmer's notepad might work since it has a hex editor, but it would be better just to extract the files since it's an NDS game and then determine which files have the text and decompress them. You could use tahaxan or dslazy.

Also, I'd recommend you to watch your language, especially since you have a younger sister. People might respect you more.
