GeckoOS by Nuke (NOT THE BACKUP LAUNCHER

) was only provided in ELF format, so it had to be converted to a DOL.

Go download the new dol at http://hbc.hackmii.com/download/

Convert your ELF to a DOL.

And try reading the warning next time.

Heared this plenty of times, do you take note of the Readme, it simply says old elfs will not work, thats why you recieve that error, you need to use .dols instead of old .elfs, only sane elfs work and there aint many of them, only Geexbox i believe...

Probably you're using too old of a version.

Get the newest version, 1.21 from Wiibrew.

Actually I read the readme.........Just forgot that almost every file on my sd is an elf

Yeah, your'e right there like, majority of the little games etc are .elfs,
there's a exe file in another thread, the beta 9 thread, simply put at the root of your SD card, or the root of your drive, and it automaticly detects every elf in any folder, and converts to .dol and also deletes the elf for you!

Um i updated so that i could use my 8GB SDHC card and it worked with the homebrew channel but not the homebrew itself

Because the homebrew doesn't support SDHC yet. >_>
Support doesn't magically come with the HBC.

There was a script posted earlier that you put in the root of SD, ran it, and were all done.
