Hiding blogs?

Is there a way disable your blog from being displayed in the most recent blog list? I've been trying to look for a way but still cannot find it... Thanks.

You can manage your blogs to be set to private and only allow people you want to view it

I don't really want it to be private, I just don't want them to appear in the recent blog list. I would still like to give the url of the blog freely as well as letting someone find them by googling.

Well because they aren't really blogs, but more like text I need to be online, since I don't have my own website. If they appear in the recent blogs section on the homepage, it won't reach the people I'm trying to reach, if that makes sense.

Nevertheless, it's not really a problem if I can't set it the way I would like to.
