Basically, all un-installing a WAD does is delete the tag and the folder in the Wii's NAND that the WAD would install into.
If there happens to be something else in there as well it gets toasted, too.

un-installing a theme gets rid of whatever system menu you currently have installed. ... and, apparently, the settings for it, too.
I think that's why MMM refuses to uninstall it.

So are you saying the red system menu is not actually installed? and just that it basiclly deletes my system menu no matter which I have?

that's really silly...I swear though I uninstalled 4.3 without issues, but it just seems to hate themes I guess.

sooooo where should I start with making my wii a virgin?

I'd say a syscheck to see what the NAND restore really did to it would be a good start.

Do you remember how long ago you made this NAND backup in the first place and what you had installed before making it?
(If it's a NAND dump you made right after installing the HBC for the first time, we have things easy.)

That might be a problem,
and generally it's not recommended because if you do something wrong you could brick it.
It's really hard to hide some things from Nintendo.
The programs you use to do that can also cause bricks if you use them wrong.

Basically, you'd have to

- If you EVER had PriiLoader installed you need to uninstall it and there's an evidence eraser app you'd need to run.
- If you had BootMii as Boot2 you'd need to install the latest version over it.
- Use AnyTitle Deleter or the UN-install function on a WAD manager (NOT the memory manager in the System Menu) to delete
* all IOS above 200
* and all channels that you've personally installed from a WAD or a homebrew app (including the HBC ... SAVE THIS FOR LAST)
- (If there's anything you've previously uninstalled with the System Menu you'd need to remove the evidence it leaves behind for those with AnyTitle Deleter.)
Reinstall a clean copy for all your IOS to the latest version including the stubs (with something like DOP-Mii, perhaps.) and this includes the stubs over 200 as well.

Even with all that, I can't be sure Nintendo still wouldn't be able to tell.
again, IF YOU REMOVE ANYTHING YOU SHOULDN'T IT COULD BRICK YOUR WII, so you've been warned. :(

I would also anonymously ask Nintendo if "for some reason" (Don't say anything specific) the warranty ended up being void, if they would still send it back to you. Just to make sure.
You could say something like "I don't remember ever having dropped it or spilled anything on it or anything but just in case you determine the warranty's void, I DO get my Wii back, right?"

Once again, usually this is risky and not recommended but that's basically what I'd expect you'd need to do for it to look like it hadn't been tampered with.

Have you EVER had PriiLoader installed?

Yes. I have it installed now actually.

"priiloader v.0.7 (r138)"

I should mention I do have some stuff that probablly isn't allowed to be mentioned here. But I do have some custom wiishop channel games(mainly ones I already own, but can't acess the shop channel, so I just did that"

almost. for some reason the quote I pasted in a notepad just now said 124 titles and 46 ISO's? you may want to double check post #60
Okay, I see that one now. I was just thinking the first one you had posted would be closer to when you had done the NAND dump ...

just a sec.

What I'd say you'd start with is PriiLoader so uninstall priiloader with the priiloader installer
then in AnyTitle deleater uninstall anything channel that you'd personally installed that wasn't from a game disk or the shop channel. This would include DVDX if you have it.
make sure you leave the IOS, BC, MIOS, Boot2 alone, the system menu, HBC, system channels, etc.

I'd then remove all your IOS over 200 and any korean IOS you happen to have .... *looks at syscheck again*

any ones over 200? or any ones that are fakesigned with any titledeleter?

I should mention anytitel deleter always says "patching IOS in memory...applied one patches"

is that bad? perhaps it's fake signing something everytime?

uh...sorry, kinda confused....so should I be deleting all the fake signed ones or not?
No, just the ones over 200 and the Korean ones.
Once those are gone as well as the channels and PriiLoader my plan was to do a normal 4.3 system update which would wipe out all the fakesigned stuff EXCEPT what you're deleting manually first.
I think you would just uninstall the HBC with the hackmii installer at that point and be pretty much done.

... Unless you wanted to use the format option in the system settings as well after that.

Oh, the reason I ask is because there's a lot of fake signed ones under 200 as well?
