When ModMii finishes downloading something it puts it in a folder on your computer called COPY_TO_SD (unless you tell it to do something else.) That way you know what to copy to your SD card so you can install it on your Wii.
well, I should mention my IOS as of now is IOS70 v6912
And it says the required one is IOS70 v6687 my wii was orginally 4.2 and I modded it with modmii with 4.3 in currently installed, it says unknown. it does not even know the region.
Ok, it worked now for some reason. Gonna get the IOS and see what happens.
ok new problem. Got the wad. used MMM and it says "1 did not complete...."
So what's going on?....
ok, now it looked like it was gonna work, then I got a "Exception (DSI) occured!" (for dopmii)

Okay, the thing is that the LATEST versions of IOS 30, 50, and 70 are stubs.
Those are the IOS used by previous versions of the System Menu (4.3 uses 80)
When Nintendo updated to a new version, they also "updated" the IOS for the previous version with a stub to get rid of it.
(A stub is just a useless spaceholder used to get rid of an IOS completely.)
As far as using DOP-Mii, use v15 and you DO want to use AHBPROT when it asks. Hope that helps.

What I see there is you accidentally installed a 4.3E WAD file when you had previously had a 4.3U version installed and your config files are still the ones left over from the U old version.

Got the newest version(one I had was the wiibrew edition) but I have the right one now.
The thing is, NOW it says what my system menu is and region.(instead of "unknown" like before) But my wii STILL is semi bricked, and will NOT start up the system menu still. My IOS is IOS80 now. Do I have to change my systemconfig or something? I don't know what to do. It says it's 4.3 now...
What else can I do? I am so confused, why is it it says I have 4.3 now, but my wii STILL won't load the system menu?
Here is DOP mii's syscheck report

You could always tell DOP-Mii to install 4.2U again (DOP-Mii should also install the right IOS version in the process)
Of course, making sure region it says is set to U, US, North America, or whatever.
I'm kinda running out of ideas here.
When you try to go into the system menu it just gives you a black screen you said? Is that after or before the health screen?

It does not know the region.....it says it has 4.3 but NO region...
please please please. this is very very bad. I NEED somebody who can fix this for me, I NEED to send this in to nintendo once my shipping label comes. This is VERY important. someone please help...
I tried getting it from MMM and it just says "aborted due to errors" please help, I think the wii needs a region is why. I somehow fucked up and got it deleted.
So MMM will NOT allow me to uninstall those two wads. And it says I don't have a region in syscheck but on MMM and dop mii it says american. So what can i do? is there anyone I can talk to? I desperatly need help, please.
Sure glad you have BootMii as Boot2. You'd have been toasted a long time ago without it
ANYWAY
Not sure if it's much help but even though MMM is not very good at un-installing stuff, DOP-Mii should be able to delete your current system menu I think (That's what makes DOP-Mii so dangerous ... but you're System menu's screwed already so no harm done there.)
... it doesn't matter which system menu you tell it to remove. I think they're all stored in the same spot.
The same is true for the IOS70 WAD. If you un-install it with DOP-Mii you should be able to re-install it with MMM.
I would download the WAD for the 4.2U with ModMii and once you've deleted the system menu and IOS 70, go ahead and install the WAD's for both of those.
Also, as far as your system config files, I know there's an app that will fix that under some circumstances. It makes sense as I think it has to do BOTH with the Wii's internet connection AND it's ability to sync the WiiMotes.
Also, do you happen to have a NAND dump?
At this point, unless you have a lot of game saves you want to keep, restoring a NAND backup with BootMii wouldn't be a bad idea.
If you're worried about it, you could also make a NAND backup NOW and save it away before restoring your old NAND backup.

Okay, this is generally very risky, we'll try to leave BootMii on there as long as possible in case we have to use it again to restore the NAND. (keep the dump you just restored handy.)
And I can't promise Nintendo will accept it when you're done, either.
First thing that would be useful would be a fresh Syscheck since the NAND restore probably changed a lot of stuff.
UPDATE: So I went to WAD manager, and uninstalled the custom 4.3 dark red wii theme, and my wiimote stopped working. So I figured"hmm...I wonder..."
And I tried to turn it on, and yup. It was bricked. Weird thing is is that my system menu is the default. Not the dark red one. The dark red one is a 4.3 mod. But it's not physically looking like it. But it seems my wii does not like me removing the red mod why?
