Hacking Help me out fellas

Hey fellas, new to all the flash cart stuff and been reading any site I can find and am so confused. Really just a simple question...
if I buy an Acekard 2i and buy a micro sd card and put it in it, do I have to do ANYTHING to do either the cart or the micro sd besides just drag
n drop .nds files? (two question I guess, this AKAIO I saw the site mention said its an 'all in one', is that more what im looking for?)

It's at the bottom of the first post.

Unzip the RAR and put the contents on the root of your SD card.

Then you can just drag and drop stuff on the sd card.

EDIT Oh... You don't have one yet. If you get one do what I said.

Pretend the acekard is a computer you can't play mp3's without a operating system can you?

AKAIO is the firmware you'll want to run on the Acekard 2i.
As long as you're not on a DSi or DSi LL/XL, then that's all you have to do.
If you're on a DSi or DSi LL/XL, then you'll want to flash/update the cart first.
