Hello

ive updated to 9.0 and would like to restore my 8.0.1 backup

how i can restore with hekate. I already saved the boot0 , boot1 and rawnand.bin on my sd card but hekate cant find my backup.

i already read the FAQ but i dont know what is my y "nand id"
you now have a backup/[8 Character NAND id]/restore folder on your sd card.

where i can find my NAND ID ?

ps: when i restored my 8.0.1 backup / i can boot to cfw (reinx) without any problems, right? i dont need ofw...

thanks

Did you make the backup with reiNX toolkit or hekate? If I remember correctly the toolkit places the nand backup in a different folder than hekate does-- your going to either way move it manually to the directory you listed backup/[8 Character NAND id]/restore.

Don't forget to check your fuse count. If you've updated to 9.0 officially through Nintendo services then you will have 11 burnt fuses. 8.0.1 has 9 burnt fuses. This means you can't downgrade. If too many fuses are burnt the bootloader will panic immediately.

You can downgrade. Just will need a custom bootloader to bypass the fuse count check. Hekate or fusee dunno how SX does it.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    it is L+dpad down+ select
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:

  • NinStar @ NinStar:

@BigOnYa, How do I make enemies respawn on gdevelop after
    the player dies?

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
