Hello,

Can anyone make a backup of a removed emmc chip?

Unfortunately I don't know how to do this and all I can find is a very specific adapter under Linux to backup all partitions.

I would like to save my switch data, but the chip inside the switch does not work.

I am hoping that someone here can help me and maybe read out the chip with boot0, boot1 and rawnand backup.

If someone knows a method how I can build an adapter for reading out with simple soldering work, that would also be a solution I can live with.

I am hoping to restore my switch with a new emmc, it is already installed and Hekate is already working.

I would be really grateful if you could help me.

Thanks for everyone

Finger crossed for you.
Thank you,

The adapter arrived today,
it does not work under Windows. (I also bought the Ubuntu version)
Under Ubuntu it ran smoothly with an EMMC from a working switch.
I immediately made a backup of it :D

Unfortunately I could not read my EMMC.
I couldn't get it to open, I tested several commands.
The adapter was listed, but not the emmc.
the emmc from the working switch was immediately present and did not require any special commands to be found.

The only thing I could find was a very expensive programmer to save the emmc, but that would be beyond my budget :D
If someone has such a programmer, I would make my Emmc available to try it out and possibly save it.

If there is a possibility to somehow create a nand with the keys from the SOC I would be grateful :D

By the way, for those who are interested.
This adapter is equipped with an RTS5129.
Under Windows you can read normal SD and micro sd but no switch nand.
Under Linux the switch nand can be read out including Boot0 and Boot1

Hey, little update.
I'm trying to get my new emmc running with donor files.
However i have problems with my boot0 as soon as i try to sign the partitions i get a fatal error on boot0.
It is about the execution of the script SystemRestorev3.te.

Can anyone help me?
