It will likely be a little shorter. IOSUHAX takes a while to boot in gerenal and this has to boot twice.Wow its so long. So this coldboot is for lazy people look likes. If i run wiiu and launch haxchi it would be faster on my impression?
Coldboothax and Haxchi are unrelated to this double booting. That's a problem in iosuhax and cfw_booter. This will be fixed when iosuhax/cfw_booter or signpatcher get fixed.Wow its so long. I know that. I was just saying why it took forever to boot.Coldboothax and Haxchi are unrelated to this double booting. That's a problem in iosuhax and cfw_booter. This will be fixed when iosuhax/cfw_booter or signpatcher get fixed.
Any way coldboot signpatcher should be quicker and it is already available somewhere in the middle of dimok's thread.Coldboothax and Haxchi are unrelated to this double booting. That's a problem in iosuhax and cfw_booter. This will be fixed when iosuhax/cfw_booter or signpatcher get fixed.
Replied to the wrong person XDI know that. I was just saying why it took forever to boot.

Hey everyone,
I've written something new. It's a full featured iosuhax cfw like thing with wupserver, /dev/iosuhax node, all the signature check patches and a full os reload which makes it a clean firmware again. The difference is, it does not require any fw.img on your SD card or else where. All the nice stuff is inside the ELF file and I can perfectly share it with everyone. The custom firmware is equal to the "make cfw" build on my iosuhax fork regarding the features. It even reloads itself like iosuhax when you enter settings and leave them again from memory (ELF file is only required on first launch). You are not loosing the patches or anything.
So here are some PoC builds that you guys can try out (and maybe report if you find something out of ordinary):
version with splash screen:

version with splash for coldbooter:
http://www84.zippyshare.com/v/rWrDiPTf/file.html
and a small version without splash to show how small it can be (90% of the size is the splash screen):
http://www43.zippyshare.com/v/Q0pDbp60/file.html
I will also make a redNAND version later but its not done yet.
I am thinking of giving this thing a new name as it is not very alike to iosuhax as it was before. It is quite different. Though parts of iosuhax are also big part of it, like the wupserver. So I think it should be a name that reminds one of iosuhax or parts of it. We though of many funny names with @dibas, @Maschell, @Cyan and @pwsincd (like iosuramhax, yail (yet another iosuhax loader) or even NaCl) but nothing that we all agreed on. If you think of something nice, let me know.
Sources and stuff will come later. I need to clean it up a bit more and make it more dev friendly .
change wupserver code and comment out the splashscreen function. Then make clean, make.Does anyone know how do you take the iosuhax splash screen out of dimoks cold boot build when you build the fw.img? I have deleted the .tga files but its still there on boot up.

I typed in make clean and then make which it worked now will the 13.9MB fw.img work the same as coldboot img?change wupserver code and comment out the splashscreen function. Then make clean, make.
Ah, you wanted the coldboot, then after make clean, type make cfw-coldbootI typed in make clean and then make which it worked now will the 13.9MB fw.img work the same as coldboot img?
