You guys are right. This should be locked and he should have posted in the long-ass flaming thread with everyone whining about DVD5s and DVD9s.

This is a valid topic, especially considering I own a Cyclowiz modded D2B

edit: I would like to answer: Yes, several people report that SSBB works on NTSC-U Cyclowiz modded Wiis. Hurray for us.

Agreed....

I haven't heard anything about Cyclowiz chips....I've got one and would find it interesting...although I guess we won't know anything for a day or two more.

Are you saying people have reported it working? Or are you just saying you wish you could say that? *confused*

I know its an untested leap, but there seems to be a good chance that SSBB will work on NTSC-U with YAOSM because of the region free capabilities and its ability to be played on the NTSC-J with YAOSM. Of course we'll have to wait until someone actually tests it out. Hopefully that will be soon.

By the way, does anyone know what firmware the YAOSM users used to play the game? Latest real release or betas?

Hmm so it must work as that was defo a NTSC wii.

So cyclowiz works but wiikey doesnt? That must mean wiikey could have some new firmware to get it working..

No that means Wiikey will need new firmware to get it working.

Whether or not they will is the question.

And if they do. It will most likely take ages if the SMG days are anything to go by.
