I had the oneup dlc installer working got 110 songs loaded that were rev1 or rev2 added a rev4 song "i'm going up to boston" and the list vanished completely, both GHWT and GH5 say there is an error reading the sd card and so i deleted (formated) the sd card used anytitle deleter to delete the DLC list in the wii's memory and now i can't get the rev1 or 2 or 4 songs to show up, GH5 says i have already bought all the songs and won't let me redownload them, how do i wipe out the list of whatit thinks i've bought? i tried reupdating the shop channel with channel updater and the erasing the GH store info didnt do it... do i need to wad manager uninstall all 110 songs? or what? and is there a way to get the rev4 songs to work cause i am a HUGE fan of the dropkick murphy's.

BTW not that it makes a diff but here is my setup:
D2pro, 4.1U waninkoko updated, usbloadergx with neogamma mod and cios222/223 combos, truncha bug readded, and retail CD's for GHWT and GH5 for settting up first then HDD loader to keep em safe.

and heavyd if you goto any usenet search engine and type in oneup DLC and hit enter every song there is comes up and tells at the end of the file name whar rev it is...

NOT THAT I KNOW WHAT THE HELL A REV IS!! lol darn REV4 files!! i spit on you :spit: :spit:

just use wad manager to uninstall the revs
I got all of Rev1 set and some in rev2 to work. but I recommend that you put most of the DLC on to you computer, and then add them back to the sd card little at a time, after you reinstall the revs.

I'm sorry for being somewhat of a noob, but where are these songs obtained? I've just installed the channel and have no idea where I'm going with this.

you have to look for them, and hurry, they are not online for a long period of time.

Ah I see. So potentially this is just a waste of time pretty much? XD

I tried to follow the instructions but cannot seems to get the songs working in GH5. I wiped the private folder on my SD card from all previously added track under GH:WT, I also erased the DLC saved data in the wii memory. Then I used the 1UP installer to install a REV1 song and the title WAD. Went into GH5, tried to download the 1st update to SD but it errors out saying there was a problem on the SD card, tried removing the song and title using wad manager , then re-installed them and tried it again under GH5's Zik store, no success...

Can someone explain a working procedure to make the DLC tracks work please? that would really help me

thanks a million times!

Here is what I did

1- MOVE all you songs to another location like a computer
2- UNINSTALL any revs you may have on the wii with wad manager
3- TRY to enter the Rock Store
4- DOWNLOAD any free songs (if you had bought songs, they might show up as well
tongue.gif
)
5- GO to OneUP dlc installer and pick 1 song to try
6- GO to Rock Archive in gh5 and see if it shows up on the wii - if not, note at the bottom
7- TRY to enter the Rock store (again)
8- GO to Special Offers and pick the updates
9- IF you can only get one, try again till you can get the other
10- ONCE you have both updates on the sd card, try moving some songs back, few at a time.
11- TEST it out.

Note : If song does not show up, delete the song (Not the free ones) using the wii system memory and uninstall the rev wads again using wad manager, and try again on step 5

To get both updates, i simply downloaded all of the free ones, in alphabetical order the first free song on the list will get you the 1st update, and a few (maybe 2-4) tracks from the bottom will give you the 2nd update.

Thanks xdeadxpoolx! That's what I was talking about - couldn't find any REV mentioned at the end of any file name anywhere. Thanks for your list and your help!

So has anyone figured out definitively which REV screws everything up for these DLC's in GH5? Is it just one REV4 song that will do it or are there other situations?

I did both. installing both the song and rev.
And the step 4, the free song I must download to the SD? this question is because the one up dlc installer (step 5) say: "WARNING: If you have pre existing DLC songs on your Wii memory move them to SD card before using this application"
And the updates too must go on the SD?? because I choose Sd in the dowload in musci store I recieve a error.

I actually have both updates, but GH5 still requires me to download from the special offers section even though I already have. I didn't really follow your instructions, but as long as I have both updates installed it should be fine correct?

make sure you have them installed on the sd card, if you don't have them there, it wont work.
