Yea sounds good, I dont know much about the other cards, I need help with making themes for the others if I do make them. Also I can help you with a website, and yes your site can be made all in Flash, that's how I made the GBA Tempteam site.

Download a skin for M3 from GBATemp and then just use that as a template.

So we can decompile the rom enough to get songs, but we can't recompile after changing them.

Can't we just make a homebrew game that is similar to Guitar Hero? It would be easier since then we can decide what we need and what we don't. Like we should make it so it can play Frets on Fire songs and use the L/R button as the 5th fret? And since we decomplied the game, can't we take the code from it and then change it accordingly?

They're making Fret Fury now which is a homebrew similar to GHOT.

you have to put in "ungob.pl" not ungob.exe because you have got the version that works in Perl. Don't ask what Perl is... Google it...

If you are looking for a custom song tutorial look at page 17 and about half way down you can read the one I wrote.

I think I found more information on the .gob file. Form what I have gathered it stands for GObject Builder. And I have found a compression tool for it! The compressor is in a stupid format called .tar.gz its a format I have never heard of, its some kind of compression file type. I found a .tar.gz decompresser but I dont know how to use it, it needs to be ran from DOS.

I cant do it alone I need someone to help figure out how to run these programs and get that GOB compressed!

.tar.gz is a Unix/Linux compressed file format, ala .zip.

I've extracted it in Linux (knew I got the Linux version of the EEE for a reason! :-P). By the looks of it, it appears to be the source code for the packer. I'll upload it ASAP.

Your best bet to use it is a) install Linux or b) install Cygwin (a program that lets you run Linux programs on Windows. No, I can't help you with that.)

Hay guys, I know I have not been on for LONG time, hahaha. Well looks like we are still at the same point we were at when I left,

I dont believe the GOB compiler is going to spawn out of no where, and it looks like no one is going to make one so.... you added it up in your head. What im saying is it aint going to happen. Sorry for the negative feels I have toward the project. I just dont believe in false hope. Theres a fine line between, not giving up and believeing in a goal, and then theres false hope, and I think we have crossed that line. Well I will keep the GHOT website running incase ???SOMEONE??? makes a GOB compiler. If anyone has questions just email me, at [email protected]
