the format for the non-sound part of files has changed a bit, it now has some kind of 8 bytes header followed with a lzss encoded file. just swaping would not work... before being able to send with adhoc wireless some song files you should have to reverse the exchange protocol and the way it sends the song files... imho it's far harder than reversing the song file format only and produce a song swapper utility...

I don't remember having to degob with Decades.

Could somebody just hook their DS headphone jack up to their line input on their computer and rip us the background audio?

I'd really like to get "We are the Champions" vocals if possible for fan remixing

Well, I see you guys are moving on to Decades, well I'm not. I found someone who is constructing a .GOB compiler as we speak! Hes a programmer and he understands the language that the .GOB is written in. He realized it is just a modified zip file. So hes going to reverse enginer it and we should be close to custom songs! Like I said before, Don't give up the dream!

Am I the only one that cant seem to post on the forum? It say page loaded with error on the bottom left.

Anyway when this project started I editted custom songs into four frets.

What Ive edditted:
FF7 Theme
Naruto Main Theme
Pokemon Theme

Working On:
TTATF (Expert has been editted starting to work on hard mode)
Re:Member (Some one on this forum wanted this song. I made one for personal use on GH3 like a month ago and will eidt it for GH DS)

...I see u've done a great work here gys...I searched again and again and i cannot find how to extract the IMAGES from the GH:OT. I need them for making a theme for Frets on Fire so anyone if please can give me instructions which programs to use. I found out how to extract the .nds file, and the gob file too but i end with .meta, .layertile and other kind of wtf extensions...If anyone can provide me some info pls.. It'll be very appreciated, TNX.

Can I ask something, how comes the on tour decades hasn't got customs yet, it doesn't have the GOB compression and has gone into a problem. If the gob compiler is made wouldnt on tour run into the same problem? Or are the files different from on tour different from decades?

You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version?
