Someone mentioned Koudelka... damn I really, REALLY want Shadow Hearts 2 Remixed or something; perfect fit for the DS with more complex touch-centric J-ring!

Saturn ports I'd love to see!
---------------------------------
Sega Rally (a port of the Saturn version)
Shining Force III
Alien Trilogy
Virtua Fighter 2
Virtua Cop 1 + 2 (Would be perfect with controls like Dead And Furious)
Loaded
Parodius
Strikers 1945 1+2

Amiga Ports
--------------
Road Rash 1+2+3
Pinball Dreams/Illusions
Dune 2:The Battle For Arrakis
Syndicate
Desert Strike (The best version out of them all)

SNES Ports
-------------
Blackthorne
Super Smash TV
Final Fight
The Firemen
Bahamut Lagoon
Pac-Man 2:The New Adventures (Would be perfect for the touch screen)
Pop N Twinbee
Super Star Wars/Empire Strikes Back/Return Of The Jedi
TMNT:Turtles In Time

MegaDrive Ports
--------------------
PGA Golf (any of them, preferrably all of em!)
Beavis And Butthead (the best version and a pretty good game)
Jungle Strike/Urban Strike
The Shining Force Games
TMNT:The Hyperstone Heist
Psycho Pinball

Atari ST
---------
The Bards Tale
Dungeon Master/Chaos Strikes Back
Prince Of Persia
Leisure Suit Larry
Police Quest
Mega Lo Mania
MidWinter
Space Quest

Random stuff I'd like to see

A good NBA Jam port
An updated Elite - still one of my favourite games of all time.
A good Epyx stylee Summer/Winter Games.

- Xwing / Tiefighter / Xwing vs Tiefighter or Xwing Alliance (any realy- as long as they have wifi)
- Privateer / Elite etc sound good, provided they come with a decent wifi-side
- C&C / Warcraft / Starcraft - anything but mushrooms fighting in slowmotion... (and don't forget wifi)
- Quake3 Arena or Return to Castle Wolfenstein: ET (online ofcourse)
- Neverwinter Nights / WoW - as long as it's online and free to play - preferably on any PC server...

Any of the above would make me a happy camper...

Virtua racer would be sweat, while the graphics are lacking for 32x

I dont think the DS needs more ports, but it does need more work on its sports games.

Mario Hoops 3on3 had so much potential but the AI was garbage ... If that game had wifi and better AI it would be the best game on the DS. I'd like to see another mario kart where they put a limit on the amount of snaking you can do. Granted snaking is hard ... I just hate when I go on wifi to see everyone using an egg or tank. Theres 32 karts but only 2 are used. Nintendo needs to learn how to balance their games. I'd like to see a meter showing that if u snake to much your engine blows up or some crap like that ... at least then there would be more strategy to mario kart instead of snaking thru courses all the time.

Now that I've been thinking about ports, I wouldnt mind seeing either Wipeout or Starwars pod racer ported to the DS.

Damn I knew there was a game I forgot to put! I actually really liked the graphics in the 32x version. They moved along at a pretty good rate, there was a fair amount of popup but when you got into the game you barely noticed, plus they were bold and bright. I agree they were a bit simple but they still looked good.

The 32x version was muuuuuuuuch better than the Saturn version, which was just plain old poo.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
Nor clothes 🤮 . Saves on time, soap, water and money having to wash them. :D
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
