    Hi Everyone,
As I have mentioned before, I'm bored as hell and its spring break [IMG]
I just wanted to ask about some good racing games for pc.
    My specs are.
    - Intel Core2 Duo E6600 @ 1.86 GHz
    - 2 GB RAM
    - Intel 82945g Graphics card, 256 MB (integrated)
    These suck, but watever [IMG]
I have played NFSU 1 & 2, Juiced, SRS, Live for Speed, and TOCA Race Driver 3.
Please any suggestions for a good street racing game. [IMG]
    Thanks

Need For Speed Most Wanted. My favorite of the NFS Series IMHO.

It should run on those specs with no problem.

Dirt is going to be too hard I think.
No, I would suggest Trackmania, Revolt, Rollcage, NFSU 1 and 2, Juiced and that's about it.

I've played NFSU: MW, it doesn't run as expected.
I don't think I can run dirt. I'll try the others.
    Any other suggestions?

    Trackmania Nations Forever!

Free, kicks @$$, and you can be very, very creative with the track editor

No offense or anything, but Trackmania doesn't really appeal to me..

Perhaps Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2? I've got a old low-end AGP graphics card (GeForce 6200) and it runs fine.

Viper Racing has a software renderer if I remember right, so it should work.
Destruction Derby 2 also does, it'll work.

OMG I remember that game, so much fun, this will definitely work on any modern computer, it came out in 1999. You can play anything you like from arcade style to simulation, with damage too (not many games have damage and real cars (technically car though [IMG]) anymore!). You can design your own car texture, great game!

Ooooh Destruction Derby. How much fun i had with the demo... YEARS back. I may have to find that just to eff around with it. So many memories lol

(heh, that just brought back memories of the demos for Crusader: No Remorse and Bad Mojo. Ahh, the early days of CD-Based PC gaming. And those amazing PC Gamer cds.)

Surprised that no one recommended Drift City

It's a free online racing game made by Ijji

They make games that run on any computer!

But that's the only racing one they have. There's also a few rpgs and shooters

I remember playing a few racing games from DOS that looked pretty cool.

    Screamer
    and
    Slipstream 5000

These are probably a little bit older than what you were looking for!

Streets of SimCity! I had that and SimCopter years ago, you could actually drive/fly around in your simcity 2000 cities.
