Hacking GC save help

ok ive got the original super mario sunshine GC disc and i dumped it onto my computer using waninkokos dvd dumper then i burned it on to a dvd-r on 4x speed using imgburn. the game works fine
but the thing is my save doesnt load
it just says empty on all slots i have checked my save in data management settings in wii settings and its there.
why does it do this coz i dont wanna start all over again
and doesnt putting any disc in from the same region use the same save.
im on 4.1e if that makes a diference.
i patched MIOS and i am using wiigators GCloaderv0.1
i searched this and didnt find anything
all i wanna no is why this happens and how can i fix it

every game region uses different saves, if you used a PAL game only the PAL save will work, if the game is NTSC-U then only an NTSC-U save can be used, you cant use a PAL save on a NTSC-U game and vie versa for any game

so maybe you saved using a PAL game but now use a NTSC game

no im sure its pal i ripped the pal game and burned the same pal game

get an NTSC copy and try it, most likey its a different region save compared to the game
