Just dropping in to share my appreciation for the effort here, it's simply incredible. Never thought something like this was possible.
I'll be waiting on button remapping since B/A config it's unbearable for me on a DS setup, but I'm watching this thread almost daily.

I have one question though: what's the main difference between running this on a DSi and a 3DS? I'm thinking of getting a DSi just to run this since it's resolution is best fit for GBA games, and the D-pad is amazing.
Thanks a lot for your appreciation!

On a nds there's 4MB of memory, on DSi 16MB and on 3DS 32MB. This influences the amount of rom that can be linearly preloaded in memory (only from that code can be executed). For data accesses it doesn't matter as those can be fetched from sd just fine (so only potential better speed if data is already in memory).

There are really fans for the DSi "no-diagonals" d-pad? Playing shooters on this thing feels awful.
IMO microswitches will always have more tactile feel than mushy rubber pads. I never had any problems with diagonals on the DSi or GBA SP. But it's all personal preference in the end :)

Yes!
This has fixed my issue of getting the games to run on TwilightMenu!
Thank you

ONE more thing - the ROM 'Harry Potter - Quidditch World Cup [UE]' seems to be the only ROM in my batch that gives me a white screen after selecting the title form this list in GBARunner.

It says on the compatibility chart that it should work so I'm not sure what the issue would be (this applies to both arm9 and arm7 versions). any ideas?

Harry Potter - Quidditch World Cup currently only works with DSi and 3DS.

I'm acutally using a 3DS so that's why im stummped.

..unless do you mean it only works using the .nds file 'GBARunner2_arm7didi_3ds.nds' ? as opposed to the ds arm7 and 9.

Yes. It currently only works on CycloDS iEvolution (with DSi mode switch), and the console's SD card.

ooof - that's a bummer. Was really excited when I read on that compatibility list that it ran perfect... I didn't realize it still depends on the flashcard being used.

Whelp fingers crossed it'll eventually be resolved and branch out to other flashcards in future updates..

Golden Sun works fine with the latest master.
Use commit unspecified (2019/06/03) (sd save branch) arm9 version for the second one.
You will find a link to this version on the wiki.

Got my DSi :) Really impressed with the software! I didn't expect it to be this good - and the games look amazing on the DSi, I can tell it's gonna be my favorite way to play GBA games going forward. Didn't have much time to test many games due to work, but WarioLand 4 was my priority and it runs flawlessly!

Can't wait for my shift to end so I can play around with it a bit more!

I really need a menu reset option or something implemented soon as playing Mega Man Battle Network 4.5 it becomes evident that when I need to switch my Navi to do some other tasks that turning the system off is a pain. :(

You should be able to reset the game, or select another one soon.

Negima! Private Lessons crashes after the battle tutorial and I couldn't make it to the start menu to save the game. Also, the English translation of the Japanese version of Mega Man Battle Network 6 freezes when you press start. Groove Adventure Rave has an issue where the game freezes sometimes when loading the final battle up and it didn't load at all when I played as Reina. All these games were played on the latest version of GBARunner2.
The first Negima! Private Lessons works with my 3DS. The second one with DSi speed enabled. Thought I let you know.
